just noticed a couple on the glass. Running a fallow as of recent so nothing to eat anything. Run over with copepods and now these.

I just left home lol. It’s 430 pm my time. By comparison I could say, the tip of a hammer coral (hammer part). Around that length. Hope it helps. Copepods are much smallerIt's not really a low res issue then, more of a lack of scale, if it's the size that's making you think it's something else... Can you put something next to it when you take the photo?

Thanks. I knew it wasn’t a copepod so it’s why I asked. Who knows? I seeded my tank with ocean water months ago and have run it fallow to let any parasites die off before adding fish. Just now finding the treasures. You’d be surprised. This is my second tank and more of an experiment for me. Wish I had done a build thread ;BoredGoing on three o'clock in the morning here... I should go to bed. Haha! Hmm... If it's the size of a hammer polyp, it is possible that it's an amphipod; but the way its appendages radiate doesn't fit that, not to me at least. Could be something from the Calanidae pod family, maybe Calanus finmarchicus, those can grow to half a centimeter. Other than that... ¯\(ツ)/¯
I would guess it's an Isopod called Munnid. Very common. They are herbivores and a good food source for most fish.

You’re brilliant! That’s exactly it! I live and let live. Just wanted to know. I guess it’s a rarer type of isopod.I would guess it's an Isopod called Munnid. Very common. They are herbivores and a good food source for most fish.

Copepods have legs in the frontal part. Mine have legs around the whole body. Usually copepods can barely be seen. Mine look more like worms and are much larger than copepods.
