can i use vegetable glycerin as a binder for powdered medication?

Title is self explanatory. I have some food grade vegetable glycerin but no gelatin (what are the odds) and need to bind some blood worms with powdered medication

This is for a freshwater tank but i dont know anywhere else i'd believe any responses i got

supposedly it's used as an ingredient in easy masstick. at least glycerol is which is the chemical that the vegetable glycerin is mainly made of
May be glycol based which then is common but must be diluted or broken down over a couple of days. On my behalf, I would be cautious as it has to be applied precisely

Sorry, I've never used glycerin as a binder. I've used agar, gelatin and Focus.

Calculating proper doses for medicated foods can be tricky. Here is an article I wrote on that:

Definitely would not use a lot. This time I used about .3ml mixing 2 cubes of food and about 25ml water
