i have a couple of things in my aquarium id like to get a name for if you can. the first im guessing is a type of mushroom? ive got a couple of them. a lttle bigger than a quater size. the last pic is a volunteer. tia!

The first photo is a gorgonian, the second is a yuma mushroom. :)

Gorgs are not usually "easy" either. It is potentially a non-photosynthetic so you'll need to figure out food for it. They have small "mouths" so some super fine food will probably be necessary. I don't think they spread easily so that shouldn't be an issue.

@danieyella any thoughts on the Gorg?

how funny! i have a much bigger piece. and its one of the few that survived my awful heater malfunction/cookout. :winking-face-with-tongue: i almost threw it away but just couldnt bear to, and it came back and is 3x the size! and then this random piece sprouted on the other side of the tank and is just happily growing there!

thank you! does the gorgonian have a problem with spreading? or do i need to keep certain corals away from it?
Most of the time they'll get along just fine with anything that doesn't sting them.
