Biopellets do reduce NO3 more but also work on PO to a lesser degreeI am interested in any responses to this. I use Fauna Marin Bacto Energy and run biopellets as well. My PO is a constant 1.0 and NO3 50-70 . All coral in my LPS dominant 120 doing very well and no nuisance algae.
I ran my skimmer alot wetter for a while. Did lower my nutriënts slowly but steady. Consider a reef mat, so much more conveniënt then socks and very very usefull, and or a fuge. That will do the trick for sureYes its set up correctly. That I know, and I think I could be a lot better about the socks. In fact, I'm sure I could buy more new ones.

no room left for a reefmatt...I am considering a small set up for macroalgae however.I ran my skimmer alot wetter for a while. Did lower my nutriënts slowly but steady. Consider a reef mat, so much more conveniënt then socks and very very usefull, and or a fuge. That will do the trick for sure
