Can I direct wire the pump, from the ac/dc adapter? and by pass the controller? I keep it full speed and never use the feed mode..I'm having a hard time finding the 50 watt controller under $40 bucks..Not worth the money if I can by pass it for my return pump

The title says "turns on and off"... why does it turn on and off? Is the controller faulty - or is the pump clogged?
I have a DCW-1500 that has never turned on and off by itself in the ~12 months I've had it.

pump flows fine, every time the lights blink on the controller it turns off then back on.I know its the controller..Thats why I took a picture of the cotroller..So someone with electrical experience. Can help me direct wire it to by-pass controller.
have you tried cleaning the pump or reading the manual? it could probably the controller is detecting something stuck in the pump
Yep, first thing I did, was clean-out the pump .

I've worked with dc motors, writing the software that runs on the controller (not this one, but stuff like it).

It may not be possible to bypass the controller - the motor may require a certain pulse rate to run at all.

If you're really on a mission, and willing to risk it, you could try connecting the motor to a current limited dc power supply if you have one available at the right voltage.

What I need to know. Is the wires on the right, the 2 brown wires, they come from the supply. I need to splice them with the 3 wires on the left, blue brown and yellow that go to the pump.So I can by-pass the circuit board. I want to re use the controller box as a junction box. That way I don't have to cut off power adaptor cord from the supply .I can just plug it in.

Would something like this work in place of the controller https://www.amazon.com/sspa/click?i...-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
