My juvi emperor angel fish has died. I'm hoping someone on the forums can share some insite on the matter. Before he passed he seemed slow and hiding. I managed to take a couple of pictures that I showed the first two pictures to people at my lfs and they said the Marks seemed to be from aggression... yet he was the biggiest fish in my tank.
The last picture is when I could finally get him out of the tank when he died. Some of his fins seemed eaten away.

First two pics look like bacterial Infection. Could be secondary to what looks like velvet in the third picture.

I have another bi colored angel fish that is acting the opposite. She is darting all around the tank back and forth. No real visual signs of infection, eats well yet I've noticed her flashing once or twice in the past week.

From what I have read on fourms, I've been preparing my food with homemade garlic juice.

When I was at my LFS I asked about suplementing vitamin C to help their immune system, I was told not to bother. Do you agree with this?

I have also installed a UV sterilizer on my FX5 to try to help.

Looks like marine velvet to me How are the other fish doing?
Other then that all my other "cheap" fish seem to be fine even tho they should be the ones most stressed always being chased around. Two chroms and a dam.

Not sure that’s velvet because most of your other fish would be noticeably acting weird......
