I was thinking of making a list of all the things I could get from Dollar Tree that will be useful for this hobby.

This is my list.

2. Sponges
3. Microfiber towels
4. Storage containers
5. Tooth brush
6. Vinegar
7. Turkey baster
8. Condiment bottle
9. Plastic cups
10. Snacks for me
11. Lemon juice
12. Scrub pad as biomedia
13. 3L pitcher
14. Tupperware
15. Measuring cups/spoons
16. Unscented dry eraser

Please feel free to add anything to this list in the comments.

I wish they still had those sponges without the green scrubby part attached.

Also you can add Lemon Juice?

Swing by the kitchen area and grab some measuring cups, measuring spoons, and plastic tubs for dipping coral or as temp holding while you shuffle things around. There's even a 3 liter pitcher that can be used for mixing Alk, Calcium, Magnesium supplements.

I've used those for several years in freshwater canister filters. They work great in place of bioballs.

Also, the sponges with the green scrubby part are good polishing sponges if you cut the green part off and they don't break down and pollute the water.

They do have plain sponges. I just get the microfiber sponges.

What about magic erasers? I've always heard they are reef safe.
For scrubbing the glass, yes. As a polishing sponge filter they will break down over time.

They have scented ones right? Make sure they're unscented.

Forget I tried to help. I can't delete all of my posts or my account or I would. I'm so very sorry I caused so many problems.

For media, you want the scrubbers:
