Legitimate question, do these guys bite if you stick your hand in there?

Depends on their temperament. Mine tend to think anything is food and will nip at me but a bigger moray can seriously mess you up. Used to work at an lfs that had a near 6 footer green moray in one of their back systems and I would pet the thing all day long but it was just docile. My uncle on the other have was hospitalized by a wild moray as captain of a drift fish boat. Naturally the fish was ticked after being hooked and they have some nasty teeth.

Not to mention their pharyngeal / raptorial jaws. If they get ahold of your finger, kiss it goodbye.

Oh wow! I was considering a tank for an eel but maybe I will reconsider. Knowing me I will stick my hand in there and it will bite me lol

They can. I had feed my eels and have gotten bitten before when they mistake my finger for food. I have one that also bites if your hand goes near his cave even if Im not feeding. But mine are pretty good about not biting, I just think they associate my hands with food. Thats why you should always use tongs lol but I lost mine and was too lazy to get another pair. Been hand feeding them over a year now

Who seems bored to you?
I'm not bored! My heat pump went out last night and I'm hauling in wood to burn! At 8 at night in the rain and dark! The furnace DOES work, but the lack of a heat pump turns a $150 bill into $450. That ain't happenin' man!

Well you definitely have more going on than I do lol. Its lightly raining here so I decided to stay in so I won't melt. Currently mixing up some ground beef for tacos while sipping on a glass of bourbon. So no boredom here! Good luck hauling wood and hopefully your heat pump will be back up and running sooner than later.

Oh yeah. I ain't worried. Too old to worry. And it keeps my muscles and tendons limber. Very important at my age, lol! I had Juaritas (spelling?) tonight. The local meat market makes it once weekly and it goes fast. And I got there in time!
