my elegance coral didn’t look good for some time and finally it decided to detach from its skeleton and i left it in a place where its really not going to be disturbed and hopes that it can heal and form a new skeleton or am i wrong? it’s not showing any signs of it being dead or anything it’s more plumped then when it detached so should i leave it and let it do its thing or take it out?

its just crazy before my tank really started to stabilize it looked amazing but now that i keep my nutrients down but everything else is in check, all my corals are looking really healthy. from research i hear they’re relatively hard corals to keep but not sure where i really went wrong? maybe low nitrates..?

phosphates 0.05
nitrates 0.7
ph 8.4
salinity 1.024
temp 78
magnesium 1425
calcium - can’t test
alk 9.3
