Really good cube deal going on but I don't know where I'd store it all and I couldn't remember who had an issue with that. I was thinking you or @Stang67 - maybe both? Finally got around to ordering a bunch of odds and ends things from LiveAquaria with my store credit. I still have a free shipping credit for live/frozen if I decide to risk it again.
I was trying to save the credit in case Hydros gear comes back in stock but when I asked, they basically said they had 0 plans on restocking Hydros so I just bought a little bit of what they still had in stock. Got some cables that I'll need eventually, some mesh bags, another air pump, and some more fish food.
I have had some really weird deliveries from them in the last year, but they've never hesitated to issue a credit. I'm hoping the box and cow I just ordered arrive okay.Yeah, @Stang67 got the thawed frozen about the same time I got the frozen live fish...
They sent my fish and Becky's food in those tinfoil/Styrofoam bags instead of a Styrofoam lined box. My fish had cold packs and the water was around 40° when it arrived even though it was 99° out. I think a big issue was the bags lying directly on the ice packs with no insulation between. It had brown paper for the insulation inside.I have had some really weird deliveries from them in the last year, but they've never hesitated to issue a credit. Yes, I had one that way as well. I wish I remembered which facility it came from. I've also had a number that came in perfect condition. I *think* it's related to the source location but I could be wildly incorrect. Mine came from the Wisconsin facility.I paid attention this time, this delivery is coming from the Cali facility. We'll see how it's packaged....
I wish I could give you my free shipping credit...I'd love to get some food but that fee. I know it's more for overnight and whatnot but man. I'm lucky I can grab some from the lfs. That's such a great price though.
No worries, I appreciate the thought though.I wish I could give you my free shipping credit...
Not a lot of chance I'll be using it. I don't need much in the way of more fish but who knows. No worries, I appreciate the thought though.
I mathed it, even with the shipping it's less than work w/ my discountI'd love to get some food but that fee. I know it's more for overnight and whatnot but man. I'm lucky I can grab some from the lfs. That's such a great price though.
Same thing. Just used my GC, but skipped the Hydros and just bulked up my RODI filters. Finally got around to ordering a bunch of odds and ends things from LiveAquaria with my store credit. I still have a free shipping credit for live/frozen if I decide to risk it again.
