Love the tank. Just filled a new tank with very similar dimensions and youve got me pondering a gulf live rock order. First coral in the tank is going to be my softball sized pavona. Always nice to see them in other tank builds.

GLR is amazing. You can have coral in the system in a very short time.
I love potato chip pavona and have one in this system. It was real nice but I dropped it and it's 2 pieces now. I have one in all my main system.

Yea, i dropped mine back in july. Ended up with about 30 frags. Ha. Super fast grower though and everyone i know got a piece!

After replying to a thread I remembered that I forgot to mention that I had 3 corals that showed stn. I was going to pull them but left them be and started dosing KZ flatworm stop. All 3 have started to encrust over the stn area. I have used this in the past with similar results. It is said to strengthen coral.
All corals are growing well but I do have several that are just slow growers.
I also added a Chalk Basslet to the system so 10 fish now.
7 months of growth on my WD.
Hard to get a focused pic because it's almost 2' back from the glass.

Color is getting better now that I run 3 uv/v bars. As the lights ramp down the color is noticeably better for all corals, imo.

Tank is now 9 months and a week.
Video will be comming later today when the lights get to full intensity.
I picked up and ATI ICP from the lfs and will send it out tomorrow after I document my parameters.
Overall the system is doing well.
I just cleaned the small exterior overflow. It is becoming a mini fuge, lol. I remove alot of hair algae every couple weeks. I also have some red macro algae growing in there too.

My maroon clown follows me around the tank when I clean the glass eating the algae as it comes off, weird.

Are you using the original sea swirls? I'm forgetting now, you upgraded your pumps to two 6255? Nice setup. If the guy is still making sea swirls I may look into that at some point.

Sea swirl is the company. Sea Sweeps are the units I run. I have always had the 6255's from day one.
Yes they are still being made.
