Any questions regarding Panta Rhei, Triton, etc? Feel free to ask us!

I'm really intrigued by the Panta Rhei. Is the height adjustable or do they have sizes. Does the pump run constantly, or does it replicate the surge and flushing action of the Carlson Surge Device? If the former, would it replace wavemakers? Finally, what size would you recommend for a 60 cube?

Follow up, can you use it if you have a sand bed or only in a bare bottom tank?

For the Panta Rhei Surge they will come with stackable housing pieces that you can adjust the height to achieve the best height for your setup. For a 60g Cube the 42 model would probably be best for your setup, the 42 models are rated for about 3,000gph. For programming the pump you can have it run constant or have it with a wave profile where it ramps up to 100% to then ramp down a lower percentage to even have it reverse flow!
