Is it ok for a Scopas Tang to eat Chaeto? I had a couple pieces escape into my display from my hang on back fuge. He was gobbling it up like Spaghetti. Kinda funny to watch. I assume it's fine since they eat Nori. I would rather feed some of the chaeto to him rather than just throw the overgrowth in the trash.

I’m sorry I find that crazy! Does the tang eat frozen and enough nori?
Yes the Tang and the rest of my fish get plenty of food everyday. I just like to supply a varied diet. So if I can throw in some chaeto and it's OK for them to eat it.Why not? Basically, it's free fish food.

So you’re telling me. The food that is naturally found in the ocean, which they naturally eat, is the best for them?

Go figure. How crazy is that.
What are you really trying to say here?

Algae turf scrubbers grow a turf algae that a lot of fish are supposed to eat. I don’t have any herbivore fish and I feel like it’s a waste throwing this stuff out every week. Anyone running an ats and feeding this algae?
