Hey Adam... with sale coming up - what's the bluest blue acro you have? Everything I currently have that is supposed to be 'blue' ends up looking more brown or white being overly dark or light vs. a blue... curious if you've got a cure for that? A few things on the site seem like possible contenders...

All kidding aside I would also like to know, but ill be little more specific and say I would like to know which is the Flattest blue. That is term I use for the blue on something like the tips of Lasermelon.

Adam heres another annoying idea a to add to drop down besides high to low etc. A choice categorize corals buy color ??? just a though :) and of course waaay more work to add to your already busy schedule.

I usually just try and search for the color in the search bar. But it only works if he mentions it lol.

This actually came around while looking at some of the example frags in the battleboxes/packs. Some frags look different or more vibrant/ deeper colored than some of the colony shots of those frags. Specifically Sky Dopple and Cloud city looked different in the photos of the frag packs vs. colonies. I was leaning towards Cloud City based on colony photo but leaning towards Sky Dopple based on Frag picture...

Also all the new blue frags that he put up puts a twist into it...

Might be a lighting thing, might be a colony thing, might be a it's Sunday vs. Friday thing. Sometimes it's hard to judge which way to go when trying decide between options. Obviously no guarantees that it'll look like that in my tank... but judging potential can be a bit tricky also lol. Luckily can't really go wrong with any of the choices...

I 100 percent agree. I had my Hard/must have picks down. Then i saw the frags packs and started looking through them and changed my mind again. :)

Did you happen to purchase a super blue acro from BCs? I received a random one, not on his website a while back. Seems it’s bluer than the Blue Oregon Tort, and just as slow growing. Can’t capture how blue it actually is, but I’ll try to take a picture later on today

Ive got a few good blue ones from him the skinny love I that we were talking about the other day( I think that was you in that conversation) which what I would call the flat blue. Then BC Secal similar to a garf and Snipers blue which is cool growth pattern and a dark blue with turquoise tips. Thats all I can think of off top of my head.

Here’s the blue with deep purple body… the purple doesn’t contrast as much as in this picture:

Here’s just a purple one. The only green tip is because of some sort of filter feeder resident in the polyp

These aren’t the three you mentioned. But the Sniper’s Blue is a great looking coral for sure; will try to get one sometime in the future!

Didn’t you win the Blue Ghost competition? Was wondering how it’s looking for you recently

I noticed the same thing with mine. I had it about a year before it started showing any real growth. Yours is looking awesome!
Snipers is a long time favorite and a really one of my go-to blues if there's ever a request for Blue. A good clean blue for sure with hints of green in the tips. What's not to like really :). Your colony will be triple in size easily a year from now.

One of our earliest grow outs was the snipers blue. I would love to see some colonies from that grow out if anyone has one growing still
