nope. had to tear it down. fingers crossed i can get another tank running.

I sold my first tank to basically feed my family. At the time (2006) I didn’t have a stable career and had to sell it due to a lack of consistent employment. Now I get to play as much as I want.

My very first tank has been gone since the 90's. I got back into the hobby around July of '23, and upgraded in November of '24.

I still have the 07/23 tank sitting empty in the garage along with enough spare parts to get it up and running. I'm likely going to sell it all, but there's a little voice in the back of my head telling me to find a spot for it in the house and get it wet again.

I started with a 5 gallon Metaframe with a slate bottom and no silicone. It was a guppy tank. I have no idea what became of it?

Home- Reefs weren’t on the menu for another decade or two.

My first reef tank was a 40g XH in the wall converted from a freshwater angelfish tank. However the closet space that it was in was too hard to maintain once a protein skimmer and other stuff was added. The conversion to salt was 1997 but that tank was from 1986. I don't even have any pics of that tank.
