Starting on the hanging acrylic canopy

Welding done. Now to ease the edges and weld in supports that will rest on the hybrid fixture.

Complete. Worked like a charm just have to have help hanging it after I drill a hole for wiring

Ok it’s up. This is what it looks like with all lights on. That won’t happen for a while.

Problem is it’s twisted left to right by about 3” and I can figure out why.

What do you use for water clarity?

Socks
Floss
UV
Carbon
O3
or A combination?

I have a new UV sterilzer that's not hooked up yet, I use floss in filter cups. I also have 3 reactors at my disposal and I have a buddy with a new O3 generator that I can buy at a decent price.

Let me know what you use. Bonus for pics of the clarity.

Floss in 2 sep reactors, carbon when adding new coral ,socks well that is a whole different story...
haven't changed mine since early last summer...

yup flocculant, I get calcium carbonate from the homebrew store and use that. It's cheaper than from brs but still has the hobbyist upcharge.

Just ordered some from Amazon for brewing. Way cheaper than brs.

Picked up 8 frags today.

Getting two more Wednesday then going to stop for a while. I start a weak kalk solution for topoff tomorrow.

I’ll post pics after the kessil go gel is installed and working and everything opens up.
