Scientific Name - Sargocentron xantherythrum

Common Name - Hawaiian Squirrelfish

Size - 6.7" (17 cm)

Min. Aquarium size - 75 US Gal. (284 L)

Foods and Feeding - Chopped seafood's, live or frozen Brine shrimp, Mysid shrimp, varied diet of marine frozen preparations. Feed 2 times a day.

Reef Compatibility - Will eat smaller fish, motile invertebrates, worms, crustaceans, snails, serpent stars.

Captive Care - A nocturnal fish, needs plenty of hiding places when lights are on, greedy feeders, food must be moving in water column in order for the fish to feed on it, may be aggressive towards their own kind, aggression is more pronounced as the systems size is decreased.
