Hello,

currently i have a centropyge bispinosa (coral beauty dwarf angel) in my tank.
& I just love the way it constantly swims around the tank and doesn't leave a single space undetected.

Are there any fish that are about the same size or a little smaller that have the same swim type?
I will check for myself if they fit in with my other fish.

Thanks in advance :)

my yellowtail damsel used to follow my cb around the tank like a little brother. Not chasing, just following. Doesnt swim quite like that now that the cb is gone.

50 g, Rectangular shape.
If it’s 3’ in length then look into the Prognathodes actuleatus, these swim similarly to Coral Beauties but dont harbour the aggression. They also are quite useful with their hunting habits.

Those look pretty cool!!
My full stocking list is:

2x clownfish (normal occelars)
1x sailfin/algea blenny
1x links goby
1x frimani basslet
1x pink streaked wrasse
1x coral beauty dwarf angel

Would this fish fit in in your opinion?

I would say yes as most of your fish will hang round the rockwork. Just be careful with the aggression risk, those butterflies are more robust but still sensitive to aggression.

Are longnose butterflies reef safe?
Prognathodes species are more reef safe IME.

The actual ‘true’ Longnoses (Forcipiger species) I have found to be much more hit and miss. Mine only goes for very specific corals.

Are they are more or less reef safe than a coral beauty or flame angel?
