Its submerged I took it out and took it all back apart, I couldn't see anything blocking it. It had only been running about 30 minutes. It had actully worked up pretty good size foam head by that time. It is running now, I got it to work by only raising it up to about 5 . Ill let it run like that a few days to break in then ramp it all the way up again.

Overall happy with build quality and skimming. My only "complaints" are more of suggestions for the company. Maybe a version 2.0 of you will.
1) I'd love the hose to empty the cup to be attached to a barb fitting... I noticed it can be easily slipped off, potentially dumping the dirty water back into the tank.
2) I'd love the part of the motor that goes into the skimmer at the bottom to also be some sort of barb fitting or some other locking mechanism. If you pull the skimmer up it could easily drop the pump. Not a big deal but rather a first world problem.

Heyo, I’m starting a build with a waterbox 50.3 AIO.
I’d be interested in testing this out and posting a build review. It’ll be a heavily stocked mixed reef SPS dominant.

Aha, stars, urchins, cucumbers... They all do the same thing.
But not all the hobbyists know that, they think the quality of the cord is poor and the cord has been corroded.

How do I go about ordering a new pump or is there a way to repair the cable?
