Hi all, I’m a new joiner from Italy and as requested let me introduce my tank here :)

I’m very proud about it since it has some issues that I’m addressing

it is a 115x45x55 centimeters tank ... then around 60 gal
sump has a 40x40 refugium filled with rocks and few algae (caluerpa moslty)

this is a mixed reef... it comes from a previous 100litres tanks that was substituted in july... then this tanks is 4 months old but leveraged the previous tank cycling

lights are 2 xr15 an 1xr30 g5 blu
pumps are rossmont 5600 with waiver + hydor selz dc 4000 from the sump

balling Ati essential pro
skimmer BB curve 5
ATS filter crafted by an italian small company

as you can see in the pictures I have a derbesia issue where tangs and urchin are working for... corals are fine... all almost growing ... few acro have not the proper color yet ... LPS are greats!

still improving... I added xr30 1 month ago and I’m still progressive increasing the light .. close to the target steady state around 80-85% (now 75%)

thanks! the flow is randomly configured from 30 to 100% then sometimes the torch is in high movement and sometimes less
colors are not great yet... but the tanks is young and it is improving day by day... still worried for some acros: the red planet just started to growth in the last 2 weeks due to the increase of the light ... tenuis that looks like green it should be yellow... subulata still too dark... there is still a lot room for improving :)

I would ask advise for GHA ...you see I have a lot of it... urchin and tangs are not able to fix the issue... only able to control... I read also in this forum to rise Mg 1500+ with Kent ... because only Kent for some reason can remove GHA

I also have ATS... do I need to have any attention to increase Mg ... or simply ... bump and wait? does anybody had this successful experience?

thanks a lot
