I just had to shut down my 60g mixed reef for a cross country move. I have a shallow 24x24 cube for when I restart in Georgia. The goal is to go full live rock/sand, acro only, bottom to top. Intending on mainly fish that live natively in sps colonies. Trying to have a small setup focused on growing colorful sps, watching fish interact with the corals!

Super cool what you’re doing Matt. Been looking at your use of kessils as what their capable of in growing sps since I started reefing 2 years ago. Regardless who wins, fun question!

Edit: the “when” for the restart is whenever I recoup the funds to restart. This would go a long way!

Well, guess I’ll throw my hat in the ring thanks @billyocean ! I’d use the $250 to stretch out to buy as many corals as i can. Even micro frags. Admittedly in the last three months I’ve bought a chunk of corals (LPS and test sticks) and killed most of them but the softies are there!

Besides that - under the help of my friends I’ve stabilized my alk and calcium, defeated Dino’s, and seem to be on my reefing journey! If I don’t win - congrats to the next!

Very generous of you. One of my favorite things every year is taking a name off of the Salvation Army Angel tree. I always chose a little boy so that I could take my boys to shop for all the toys and clothes we bought for them. I still do it even though they are grown and I always wish I could be there when they open up their gifts. ( Mostly because I buy them cool toys that I want to try out). I don't need to be entered, just wanted to say thank you for helping the kids.

My tank has been up and running for about almost 5 months now. It's not very full at the moment. I've been taking my time adding fishes and corals. I would use the gift card to add more corals into the tank so that it can start looking more full and alive.

This is so nice of you! If I happened to win I would upgrade my 20 gallon to a 40 and spend money on rocks to build a better aqua scape for my tank. I would love to try my first attempt at making aqua scape with caves and such for my clowns and mandarin goby. Followed by having my Oregon tort acro and aoi zoanthids have a whole colony along the aqua scape. Thank you for this opportunity!
