I bought this mushroom as a kryptonite about a month back. I was told it should develop the darker purple patches with time but I’ve been told that’s not normally how it works with kryptonite. I would think it’s fairly mature now because it just spit off a baby when it moved away from some encroaching xenia.

It has the same look as other jawbreaker type shrooms. The green really glows bright, rough bumpy texture. I just wanted to see if anyone had any like this and if I can expect any type of color change with time.

Sorry about the crappy pic, it’s in a bad spot for an iPhone pic. The pic shows some areas that appear darker but by eye it’s all neon green. Some areas might be a slighter darker green but not purple.

I'm not to familiar with jawbreakers sorry. Maybe @Dsnakes can help.
It looks like a kryptonite. I have never seen or heard of one getting purple like certain Jawbreakers would. It is a nice looking shroom though!

Can some kryptonites be all green? That pic is not great because there are some shadows that look like dark spots. It certainly glows neon green like a kryptonite. Same texture as well.

I bought it as a kryptonite baby. I saw the supposed mother which did have the dark spots and looked like a typical kryptonite. Now that mine seems to be all green I was trying to find others like it. I doubt it’s unique but I couldn’t find any pictures on the web like it.

It has spit off 2 babies so far. One is developing solid green and the other is just a blob yet.

It's a red eclectus with purple spots / stripes that I got from the fine folks @coral colonies. (They're awesome to do biz with btw -- well worth checking them out!)...actually, that entire collection of eclectus and Krypto in the cup is all from coral colonies.

Don't have a top down shot but can get one in the morn, if you're interested.

Here's a shot under whites...

I have some super bright red mushrooms and have never known what they are other than beleiving them to be discosoma. They are bright red under whites and almost neon red/pink under blues. Really pretty :)

We don't have a huge access to some of the high end stuff in the UK sadly that you guys in the States do xx

I love shrooms! They really add so much to the tank for relatively so little...

My tanks are full of them... BTAs also add a lot to the tank as well! Here's a shot of my 6G full of nems and shrooms (same tank my eclectus are in)
