Hey there, Greetings from The Underwater Gardener!
We are a new shop in the Florida Keys, specifically in Islamorada! I wanted to take a minute and introduce ourselves and show you some examples of what we do!
Here at the Underwater Gardener we offer a carefully curated selection of corals from oceans all around the world! We do all of our own quarantining in house and take the extra steps needed to prepare healthy, happy, and resilient corals to our customers. We do this through our unique aqua-culturing efforts that we have on premise in combination with a boat load of man hours and obsessing over our corals health ( we sleep eat and breath this life
)
Almost all of the coral we sell is aqua-cultured in our own farm from mother colonies we have been growing out for the last 2 years!
Here at the gardener we have an insatiable appetite for learning, growing, and contributing to and about corals and the sustainability of our own reefs which we have the privilege of living on and the reefs around the world! We host classes here at the shop with industry experts and local scientists to help give our local clients a unique experience apart from what they learn on their own! ( we love our clients and their passion for learning as well! )
Our mission is to build a congregation of like minded and enthusiastic reefers here in the Florida Keys and Southern Florida, and to expand that into the rest of the world by offering our coral selection and local species for sale online at www.theunderwatergardener.com !
There are many things that set us apart from many saltwater retailers like location ( 500 ft from the ocean on either side) , our own saltwater well and farming facility attached to our shop, but the thing that we think matters the most is our dedication to coral health, and our ability to get the coral to your doorstep without issues and as pictured!
