Growth rate of Copperband

I've had my copperband for about 7 months now. It eats great and will eat until it completely full 2 times per day as I feed it from my hand. It's very fat but it just does not seem to to get bigger? It's certainly not fully grown as it's only about 7cm at the moment and was about that when I got him. In your experiences what can I expect or will these fish not grow well in captivity

I have had my copperband for around 7 months now as well. I can only tell he is slightly taller. Not sure the growth rate on them but certain fish just grow slow and others grow in no time it seems.

I've had mine 6 years. Hasn't grown much and was in 350 gallon now in a 180. Maybe 4" now. My yellow longnose though has grown quite a bit in a couple years.

Iv had mine for a year now and has grown a lot. I don't know if it makes a difference but he is the most aggressive fish I have in the tank.
