I'm having problems with my hanna phosphate ulr checker.
When the time counts down from 3mins the time gets to around 15 seconds remaining and then goes back to 22 seconds remaining and freezes.
I then have to press the button again to start the whole process again.
Today it's done this 2 times in a row before working correctly on the 3rd attempt.

Checker is less than a month old

Anyone else had anything similar happen?

No problems like that with mine. Sounds like you need to contact Hanna to discuss.

Thanks, I have the nitrate hr one and never had any problems with that either.
It's a strange one, cant find anything online with the same problem...

I'll return this one and order another.

Thanks

Agree with above contact Hanna for warranty repair replacment. I've been using two Hannas with count down timers and have never experienced this. The only complaint I have with the ulr phosphate is the time that it displays the result is a fraction of the time all my other testers display them. I now set an audible 3 minute alarm when I start the countdown so I don't have to sit and stare at it.

I’d remove the battery and reinstall and see if that fixes it first, but sounds like a bad one. They have a one year warranty.
Good idea. Maybe even verify the battery voltage. I know they have a low battery warning but it's worth checking. In auto electronic keys I've had 3v batteries cause problems when voltage drops to 2.98v
