I woke up around 530 this morning and saw some apex alarms on my phone. I got up to check the fish room and found that my 55 gallon brute which had 50 gallons of new salt water had toppled and probably spilled 35 gallons on the carpet. It fell on a Rubbermaid tote which kept it from spilling all of the water. I had a powerhead plugged in with the extension cord placed nice and safe on top of the lid, or I thought it was safe. It got wet when the can fell over, luckily the gfci tripped. My initial reaction was a burgler, but there were no signs of that. It was just me in the house last night. My thought now is that possibly 2 of the wheels were facing in causing it to be imbalanced, they just have one size dolly and it fits 20 gallon all the way to 55. There's alot of can overhanging on the 55. Luckily it's old carpet that I haven't got around to replacing with tile yet. What a completely random thing to happen. That can has been full of water for over a week and hasn't moved from where it was. No more dolly under the 55....
