Curious what your issue was with the Mp10
In less than two years of use, the wet sides needed replacing and there is a slight rotational bearing noise in one of the dry sides. I have Jebaos that have lasted 5+ years and still going strong.

Things I regret the most:
Orbit Marine Current Loop System
. I thought this budget system was the way to go, but replacing parts cost more money than just buying what I wanted.
  1. Worst part were the wave makers. These things would get stuck or go bad quickly. I was cleaning them constantly trying to get them to work, sometimes they'd stop working after just a few weeks.
  2. Lights just weren't very powerful, especially for my odd size tank.
  3. Remotes and controllers would quit working.
I have had really good success with the Orbit Marine lights, but the wave makers were really disappointing. Having read reviews about them I opted to pay extra for the product protection. They were replaced once under warranty and again a few months under the purchase protection. They are essentially disposable, averaging 6 months before wearing out.

That's what support is for! Put us to the test at support.coralvue.com. We can remote in to answer questions, diagnose, confirm configuration, schedule a phone call, and recommend videos....customer service is THE HIGHEST PRIORITY! :)
I thank you for that and will be talking to support for sure! I really need a Hydros "geek Squad" to come and set it up!

The first fish I got. A sand sifting goby, the tan striped ones. He committed suicide on the first night by jumping out of the only tiny 1.5x3 inch hole the cover has for feeding. Still have no idea how he even managed to find it let alone jump out of it so perfectly. The hole is now permanently covered lol.

Currently regretting a $300 piece of acrylic that was meant to go between the stand and tank, but it raises the tank 1/2" which may cause the pre-fabbed plumbing (already glued together) to no longer fit through the holes prepared for it in the tank... Guess I scrap it or learn to do my own plumbing.
