I came home today and saw only 1 of my clownfish and then I found the other sitting straight up right next to the rock and was not alive. No signs of anything. Nitrates and Ammonia seem fine. My other clownfish is alive and fine and so is my fire fish goby.

Looks like there’s some fin damage.
It’s not uncommon for clowns to kill their mates, that could have been what happened here.
Well he was next to the rock so I am thinking maybe he got stuck. Here is a video of the other clown, looks like you might be right as there looks to be some marks on him.

I’m just scared man, this is the second time I have had clowns die on me, the first they both had brook from the store and now this guy. Are you sure the other one won’t bother my fire fish goby and prevent him from eating as he is pretty scared of the clowns.

I’ve had clowns be absolute terrors in larger - it’s largely up to the individual. The video won’t load for me, it’s an iOS thing. Could you try attaching it as a YouTube link?
Fish really don’t get stuck in rocks and die very often, they are naturally adapted for that type of terrain. Disease is possible if they weren’t quarantined and were bought from a store with known disease.

They were bought from a lfs 2 weeks ago and showed no signs of disease, i made sure to buy from them as the time before this i bought from petco and they had brook.

If parameters check out it could have died from the stress of being chased around. The fins do not show any form of heavy fighting. I have far worse fight marks on mine. And still doing good after they figured out how to live. Now a chase goes one again that stress can kill a clown. Did you notice any hard breathing or out of norm chase modes in the rank before this fish passed?

how did you post this at 2:03 and come home at 3:15
Time zones…
did you feed them might have got food stuck in throat and died
That doesn’t really happen. You’d have to really clog up the gills for them to suffocate, and a blockage in the digestive tract would lead to somewhat noticeable GI issues.
