I actually just bought both the Buan Goby and the court jester goby from Biota 5 days ago. I put the Buan goby in a 20 gallon long and the Jester goby in a 15 gallon cube. I was concerned with a diamond goby too as I saw one in store and it was causing alot of sand movement. Based on my experience so far, I really like the Buan's goby. My 20 gallon had some what dirty sand but within 5 days, the sand is pretty nice looking. Best part is, my sand is still where they're supposed to be. I can't see sand being dropped off the goby fish as clearly as a diamond goby but it is definitely cleaning the sand. It also eats small pellets within a day in my tank.

The court jester is definitely not as good for cleaning sand. My 15gal has a lot of hair algae and some dirty sand so I decided to put the court jester in there for the hair algae. So far, I only saw it ripped out a small chunk of hair algae once and did a couple of small nips at the sand. It's definitely not as hard working as the Buan's goby. Basically, the 15 gallon has not seen any improvement since I put in the Court Jester, hopefully that will change in time. It also started eating small pellets a couple of days ago.

Both fish I got from Biota are in good health and decent in size of nano tanks. They're about 2 inches long. The Buan's goby that I received looks better in person than what's shown on their website.

Did you do anything special for it? What size tank?
It was a 125. Tank was maybe 6 months old when I added it. I feed heavy and have a pretty decent fish bio load plus plenty of pods.
