Already too big man... mine is about 7- 8", in a 180g, and is a handful. Difficult to add any fish and can be very aggressive. He is about to be moved into the 300.

What are your coral plans?
Do some research and come up with a list of potential fish, people will help you choose what appropriate.
Regardless, you need to move slower. Can't just double(triple) the bio-load in one move on a new tank like that. Algea will be the next problem with a fish that big, the tank is not ready yet

yea thats what i saw but my guy at the LPS said i could possibly have it with the tang so i dont really know weather to trust him or not.and hes the only store that isnt 2 hours away.
Trust the people here and then buy from the LFS if you want... hopefully their livestock is generally healthy. It's tough when you don't have a lot of local options.

Even aggressive fish can take time to adjust to a new environment. And, sure, there are docile individuals in every species but it's not the norm.

Yes i do but hes also the guy who said a sailfin tang would
That doesn't make them a "bad" LFS, in my opinion. These stores are in business to sell fish, and they will often tell you what you want to hear to make a sale. That's far from a perfect world scenario, but it's human nature. If their tanks are clean, their fish seem healthy, I think that's the measure of a "good" LFS.

As @EeyoreIsMySpiritAnimal previously stated, please come to reef2reef for fish stocking advice and more. She, and plenty of the R2R gurus, will be happy to advise you.

And I'll say this, and I've said this before, Reef2Reef is such an active forum that you can pretty much be standing in your LFS on your smart phone and post a question here, and you'll likely get an answer inside of 15 minutes. Just tell the LFS you want to browse for a few minutes and consider the purchase, and then get your info here.

I'm not at all an expert on reef tanks, but many here at R2R truly are. But no one here at Reef2Reef is trying to sell you anything, at least not on these forum pages. Everyone here is trying to give you the best advice they can.

So get your advice here, and then get your livestock at your LFS :)
