My new tank ganna be 63x39x26, mainly the 39 width gives me struggle finding a good reef led light.

I prefer passive cooling and full tank coverage with no low light spots if possible, i think you call it the T5 look but a bit of shimmer is okay for me.
I want to keep a mixed reef but i definitely want to keep high light demanding acro's if possible.

So far looked for:

Ati straton, 3x flex 153
Quanta pro/helix, not on stock for the right dimension, and not known light in europe.
Reefi uno 2.1, i would need probably 6 of them for full coverage so costly and also not known in europe
Xr30 pro g6, i would need i think 4 of them? they have fans and i would like to opt for passive cooling.
AI blade, so expensive i would opt for ati straton instead.

Do i miss options, anyone a good idea?

Consider six or seven 4’ light bar with every other light staggered 1’ from the edge of 5’ tank. These light bars at 108W are 10,000 Kelvin color spectrum. They are available in solid blue as well if you like windex color. At $40 each, you can get 7 light bars for < $300.

@Sjaako
When you say “passive cooling”, are you talking about the light or evaporative cooling of the water?

Phillips coralcare fills my 36" width nicely. have 3 on my 72x36x26 tank with two Kessil 500s in between for extra punch to the bottom and more shimmer to fit my tastes. I run them with the long side perpendicular to the long side of the tank.

Imagine if you push them together they'd fill the space nicely.

2x reefbreeder Meridian 45
Passive cooling and minimum wires because the lights can connect to each other

Each one covers 60x24

You’d have only 1.5” on the far left and right that couldn’t grow sps. Acans and zoa and lps would be great in those spots

Reefi-Lab Uno 2.0 with 120 degree reeflectors will give a 24x34 illumination foot print I believe mounted 12 inches above water, raise them to 14 inches and I am sure you'd have enough coverage for your tank. Allowing for a little gap between edges of tank and rock, you' could get by 3 of these lights not 6 just turn them sideways to get started and maybe supplement with Light Bars down the road. Pretty sure Daniel Lu would ship to Europe, but you'd really have to goto https://www.facebook.com/groups/ReeFiLove and ask him.

Don’t they have the reefi uno 2.1 pro already? I thought the foodprint was not that wide.

90 degree reeflectors = 24 x 24 foot print 12 inches above water line, 120 degree reeflectors enlarge that to about 24x34. <-- this is what I measured with my Lights, this video shows really well how the different Reeflectors work and how they affect the spread of the light.

My tank is 96x36x25. You can see my lights in my build thread. Or here. My lights are mounted around 14-15” off the water. I have 8 XR30s, I put the high intensity lenses on them. I also have halides and T5. Super even spread, par is wicked at 70% I use Ushio 10k also. Interestingly, I have 4 blue and 4 pro and I alternate the pattern. There is a noticeable PAR difference between the two models.

That’s really sick, 520 par on the sandbad.
Isn’t that overkill? Thought sps on the sandbad needed around 200 par?

A beautiful setup but drastically not in line with what they are looking / asking for and out of budget for most of us

Why not just get an 8 bulb t5 with LED strips as supplement?

Under the T5 will be enough for SPS, and the sides that are less lit will be perfect for LPS.

250$ in bulbs every year
if that’s not a prob for OP then it’s great option and led bars can add some shimmer and color pop and give a few different options for spectrum tuning
