HELP With PSK-100H Skimmer w/ Sicce SK200 pump KEEPS SHUTTING OFF/OVERHEATING

Hey All! I have a PSK-100H with a Sicce SK200 pump, the pump keeps randomly shutting down, (I have swapped out the pump and tried a brand new one and still get the same results). The pump runs for approx. 20min then just shuts off. I was wondering if you guys had any idea what could be causing this???

It seems the pump overheats and then trips off, any help is greatly appreciate!

getting that pipe is a hassle as its mm......but yes.

Replace the pipe, worse case.

Update: can not fish anything through this tubing, I can share everything I purchased trying to fish out this tubing, but the angles and entry points, its just to big of a pain. Looks like I am buying a new skimmer.

Try a garden hose on full blast. That should clear everything out.

Update pt. 2:

Did my best running a snake brush through the piping, got nothing out. See image for what I used.

Also, full blast a garden hose and kitchen faucet through the piping, did not see anything come out.

Ran it again after doing all that, in some of my old water change water, preformed very well for 10 min. until it overheated again and tripped off. See video below.

You can notice good flow coming through outlet, and good flow through the body. Unfortunately I think this will be my last efforts with this. Will be looking for a new skimmer, not worth my money anymore

Will this work for a 40 gall with 2 clowns, 3 damsels, and 2 coral frags?

I don't think I have a huge bio-load already, and its rated on BRS for big bioload 55 gal

You dont have a big bio-load....today.
Its a great skimmer....you'll appreciate its effectiveness and (my personal fave), quietness..... It is a little over-kill, but........
If price is the issue, try offerup or even the forums....

you could try the Aquamaxx 1.5 also (and you already have 2 spare pumps for it).....
