Thanks! Yeah I definitely plan on reading my current par before installing new lights. I’ve read this before but forget. Why do people tend to run reds, white and green for less time?
My understanding is corals only need what they need and after that they stop using the extra light. My white red and green are currently 50% intensity

You can do it pretty fast. I have done 5% up every few days and that was going from about 400-600 PPFD at the top of the reef and a bigger difference at the bottom since the new lights were raised off the tank to provide more even spread. Corals are more adaptable than people seem to think, and they will communicate stress before any permanent damage happens by closing up or shifting colors.

I always did 10% a week & never had any issues with Acro’s or LPS.

Well they look ok but they aren’t growing. It’s been 6 months with no improvement. I also have a maxima clam that isn’t growing (white inner shell no growth). And some of my monti’s are brown rather than bright green.

I’m pretty maxed out with my primes. Melting the lens as we speak

Keep in mind that when you raise par, you affect everyone some may improve, some that we’re happy, maybe sad.

Looks great as it is.

I never go beyond 1% per week.

Damage always comes later.
