extremely interested in the copperband..... not eating is why I havent gotten one. If yours from Dr Reef eats, i would probably go down this route.

I have one from Dr Reef, it came with good weight but only eats live worms so far. Just "looks at everything else" and I have a ton of different frozen foods and fresh clams. No go with those so far.

I would have live worms on hand just in case.

I totally agree with that. Live worms were really the only item I didn’t have available to try and a lot of people say they work. I figured that if they were already eating frozen that I should be good without. I was a little worried there for a few days and the day I was going to ask someone to take me to get some worms he miraculously just started eating mysis.

Two months in now so I think it’s safe to say that all the fish came in perfectly healthy….knock on wood (I have bad luck and karma is always trying to get me). The Copperband is for sure the most personable of my prisoners. He always comes over when anyone is at the tank. Another plus is that he seems to get everyone out front and visible. A lot of the others use to hang behind the rocks but they all are out front much more often. Totally pleased with the order from @Dr. Reef and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Love me a nice healthy CBB. Your yellow looks like maybe it's healing up? I remember a post a while back and it looked pretty rough.
That’s nice to hear! Yeah, the yellow tang has had severe hlle for a long time. According to the man, the myth, the legend @Jay Hemdal it’s pretty doubtful it will ever grow its fins back. Which is sad. It’s my fault for not catching it sooner…but my vision is a major crutch. I’m pretty sure it was due to unknowingly subbing bituminous carbon when rox wasn’t available during that whole Covid thing. I’ve since removed all the mulm from the sump, cleaned it spotless, added some stupid man made colored rock that I didn’t know was man made, or colored…doh, and added started growing tang food in there. The tangs have been getting a lot of red and green sea veggies (sometimes soaked in selcon or vitachem) and fresh ulva. I hope it helps, even just a little but who knows…
