Hello,

I have seen somewhere a photo of this but can't find it

I have these growths / things that have astarted to appear on my rocks. Does anyone know what they are please? Is it bad? Need to get rid of it, if so, how? Please see photo below.

Many thanks

I assume they done move? Is the rock aquaculture live rock or dry rock when you started? Was thinking coralline algae as well. Just means your tank is maturing and that the parameters are good. If it is coralline then it will use up alk, Ca, and Mg along its florals if you have any corals in your tank.

No they don't move and they're very flat.

The rock is the type that when you put it in the tank it becomes live after a few weeks. Aquaculture live rock I think.

I do have corals - zoas, bta's, toadstool, leptoseris and firework coral.

Thanks for your help.
