Welp I did it, every tank I get I say no sps but I found a blueish base yellow polyp monti digi. I also got a Deresa clam and a tailspot blenny. Let’s see how the Pygmy angel reacts to 2 potential snacks in the tank I’ll post photos later once the the daylight comes on

Your tank is looking do much better than mine right now! I've got hair algae everywhere.
I have some sort of algae that I’ve never seen before. That pics a few weeks old cough cough. Get an urchin I’m not the biggest fan of them bc I always have to go into the tank and re glue my corals but it eats pretty much everything besides bryopsis and they do it quick. Bought the urchin a week ago and it’s tiny smallest tuxedo urchin I’ve ever seen and it’s cleared 1/3 of the tank already

Looking great! Would you mind taking some close up photos of some of the corals? I've never seen a digital like the one you've described and I want to check it out! The torch and tequila sunrise mushroom are also looking fantastic!
Shoulda taken a photo sooner I had my doubts w sps bc of the low flow and lighting but stable parameters. (Minus my nitrates drop from 10-5 bc of algae growth). It’s now dead

also one of my Red Sea RL50s just went. Noticed my frogspawns have been smaller on the right for 2 days chalked it up as higher flow from cleaning return pump/nozzles and powerhead. Butttttt I look up and realized only 1 light burned my eyes. Getting a kessil a360xe and removing both Red Sea lights from my tank

I kind of hate them, but this might be a good case for emerald crabs.
It’s unfortunate but between work and school I won’t be able to get in the tank daily to remove it so the extra help will be nice. Hopefully it last more then 3 days like my last one. My clowns loved the snack though.

A lil update b4 I remove some more algae. Purple green frogspawn started with 2 heads now 4 gold frogspawn started with 2 now has 3 heads. Golden hammer started with 2 now double splitting so hopefully will have 4 heads soon. Duncan’s doubled in size Florida riccordea started with 1 about to split now it’s splitting a 3rd head citrus mushroom started as a single now it’ll be 2 in a few days. Nyk torch started with 2 heads split off another head and started to split again to make 4. Leather absolutely ballooned. And then killed the monti and is chillin on the sand bed

I dose all for reef and use blue bucket Red Sea salt alk stays between 7.8-8 calcium 430 mag 1400. Nitrates and phosphates r practically bottomed out thanks to algae growth and my clam is not happy because of it.

Just went to the lfs earlier today and bought a Red Sea 2 head doser I only have 1 head set up for all for reef any ideas on what I should use the second head for. I’m leaning towards aminos but all ears for other options.

Great news didn’t think the Todd’s torch would settle in this quick. I bought it early on in its splitting cycle and within the next week or 2 it’ll officially be 2 heads. Ulva is almost 100% gone bubble algae is still doing its thing but the emerald crab is keeping it under control so it’s not a horrible eye sorer.
