You can scrape it off with a toothbrush or finger. I think(fuzzy pic) it’s just a gha. Toothbrush that to. Gsp is pretty resilient.

LOL, the GSP is on a rock island isolated in the sand bed. Growing like a weed, but has a finite domain. I think i will leave the sponge. You can;t even see it when the GSP is extended.
