I am aware of the issue, had a bangaii die two days ago and just now found his body, about to do a 20% water change soon I’ve got the water mixing while typing this. is this amount of ammonia gonna be safe to just let cycle out over the next couple hours or should I do more? Fowlr 124 gallons total volume, tank temp 74, tank age is 2 years 3 months old, most sensitive thing in it is a porq puffer. Ph is 7.9 sorry forgot to add.

I don't think so. I never find a fish in my tank if he checks out. There is always some residual ammonia in the tank at times as things die but it cycles quickly without harming inhabitants.

Low enough to be alarming but not bad enough to panic. Time to think about how to fix it. Stop feeding it as much. More water changes, don’t add anything new more, add more new biofilter or chemical filter. The old one isn’t keeping up anymore.

had a fish pass away and rot for a few days that could be why, and I was also considering adding another 30-40 pounds of LR and another 10 pounds of bio ceramics in the sump so I think I will go ahead on that. I think I’ll also add another 5 gallons to my weekly water changes. Thanks for the reply!
