1. Aiptasia killing spree -
One thing I hate, and something that keeps me from being disciplined in taking care of pests, is getting my hands into the tank regularly. I don't mind every now and then, but I generally try to leave the tank doing its thing. So I got these:

Nope. My wife bought me Taco Bell. Shoveled it down the hatch, nap time now, back to the office in about 2 hours.

Now I plan to mix up some kalk in a 50ml conical tube and go to town on the Aips right through the screen lid!

2. I need to save a few dying corals by fragging off the live parts. Aips have decimated my clove polyps and nearly killed off my setosa. Fragged off pieces of slimer are hanging on by a thread. And my little plate looks worse for wear. Going hands-in later to get a few of those onto a frag rack.

3. Cooked sand being added to tank.

4. Drill and fix the power strips into their final destination on the stand.

I think that's all I can manage today if I put up a sign saying "very busy working on data stuff, please don't disturb".

Scratch all that. Got called into a meeting. But I did still do a thing. I tested!

Oh boy.

And Alk is higher than 15 according to Salifert... Will retest tomorrow, but looks like it's time for an emergency water change and AIO clean-up.
