I am going to need to start my gfo back up when I get home. The lanthium will bind it but I think it just ends up back in the column eventually.

I think it works as a coagulant sort of. Binds to it and pulls it from the water column. It "should" be able to be filtered out and will either be removed through skimming or in the filter socks, etc. if I'm correct.

It doesn't unbind from LA very easily. They form small particles, so filtering is somewhat tedious, it may also precipitate out in time.

Also a position opening for someone who can clean up this thread. As you see, things can get a bit out of hand and generally untidy. Competitive compensation, as usual. No benefits, but extended coffee breaks.

Well my Hydros already helped me pick up on one thing... my ink bird wasn't setup quite right, AND I want to either Insulate my sump tank or start my "fish room" build down in the basement and heat that area. Because my tank cools down fast! (Sumps in the basement which isn't heated but stays like 60ish degrees)
