2? Just because everyone else voted for 1 and if you don't win I can say, "See? I told you so!"
Since your vote counts for at least 10, I guess I have to go with 2!

Had I read ahead about the wifi strips I probably would have sprung for the XP8 instead of two wifis...
Funny thing, I have the Non-Hydros version WiFi strip. I programed Alexa, so that if it is off for more than 10 mins to turn it back on. I had to do that because after a power outage the default is off. I haven't had an issue
since I got it.

ALK super low, nitrates over 100 and Phosphates read at 0.68 after having added a bag of PhosGuard. Time to start making some changes.

Tripled the Phosguard, changed the composition of the Reef Jerkey to be more freeze dried mysis and less powder, and took out the floss.

Yup. I've been noticing that the plank isn't dispensing the food mix very evenly. Seems that the pellets and the powder mix settle quickly at the bottom and the mysis and other freeze dried stuff stay at the top, so it starts dropping way more pellets and powder in the beginning and eventually getting to the lighter stuff. Way overfeeding. Add to that all the food testing for the CBB. Probably doesn't help that I don't run a skimmer...

Do you need to borrow a skimmer for a while until the fuge gets going?

Thanks! But I have one in a box, just never wanted to put it to use. Still thinking of going with an oyster/clam approach to filtration. I will start by reducing the amount of powder food. The corals don't need 4 heaping teaspoons of plankton plus live phyto every day.
