So I did a thing and We are really excited 2 lol. Me and the boys were at our local pet store the other day and we found this 125 gallon tank we couldn’t pass up. They had it on sale. And with the little bit of damage to the corner, as seen in photo I was able to get an additional 15% off tank is not cracked and holds water so tank with the stand included we picked up the set for just under 600$ bucks with tax. good deal I hope so? Let me know in the comments. I’m gonna keep the small tank going for now and once I cycle the big tank I will more than likely transfer the fish and nems to the larger tank. Unfortunately, I started off with the small tank because that’s all I had at the time but not really any money to upgrade, but when I saw this tank and envisioned all the contents that could be in it, my eyes blew up with excitement and with the boys enticing me lol figured why not so I bought i’m gonna wait for the large tank to cycle then transfer the fish and Nems from the small tank over. Keep the small tank going for live food breeding. Let me know what you think. Sorry for the long post like I said, kind of new to the hobby and head over heels excited

Do you think it was a good deal even though there’s minimal damage to the corner
price seems very reasonable. the stand could've been made at home(granted, it wouldn't look like that one unless you're a great at woodworking), but if you're not a DIY kind of person, it still seems like a great deal!

do you plan on drilling it?

No, I do not plan on drilling it. I will more than likely hard pipe it from inside the tank straight down the back and have 2 pick pickups into one. I am a DIY guy and yes I could’ve built a stand and purchased tank separate but local pet stores or aquarium stores are selling tank by itself for anywhere between 600 and 1000 bucks depending on who manufactures them and where you’re buying them. And this came as a set for a steal. maybe in the future, I will build a stand, but for now I think this will work

If you don't drill it now, you will regret it later. Personally, I would drill that and add an external overflow before it ever had water in it.
