I've had this toadstool for a while, and this weird stuff has been slowly growing don't the sides of it for a month now, and idk what it is, The toadstool also shed, opened up, and only bloomed half of the stool, then closed back up a couple days later and started shedding again. this is what it looks like now. any insight on what it is would be very helpful, thank you.

Toadstool needs a good amount of high flow to help it shed, and help it clean itself from detritus that settles on it. Those area's that are covered by detritus can start to grow algae, or can block the light. I would use a turkey baster and gently blow on it to clean it off, then move it into a higher flow area.

Would u recommend a spot to put it I recently got a bunch of corals off auction and glued them in, my flow is directed at the surface because my skimmer skims the bottoms of the tank. Also the toad stool has a big round base on it prolly 3inch in diameter
