I got my first reef tank and wasn't really paying attention to names at the store, I was just pointing to a bunch that I wanted. I just need some help identifying what I bought lol.

I’m gonna guess it’s a Duncan, but coral
ID is most certainly not something I know much about.

I want to add this in the future:
Leather - Finger Neon, Yellow Tonga and Cabbage
Kenya Tree
Pulsing Xenia
Ricordea

I would only do Kenya or Xenia if you are ready to keep them pruned back. I have a big beautiful Kenya tree but I rip out its babies once a week.

Kenya is brutal. I have a green and a 'regular' Kenya and I'm also pruning them often as they drop babies.

I've heard that for Kenya. Even if I put it in a corner in the sandbed?
Is it the same for Pulsing Xenia?
I used to have Giant Xenia, and it spread like wildfire...

My reef is still pretty young so we're mostly softies and just toe dipping beyond that but I've been surprised at how much I love the softies we've got going atm.

I know they're a bit boring but I'm in love with this gsp colony we've got going.

I also love these firework cloves. The details in the polyps just

I don't have a lot of photos yet of the zoas we're trying to garden but I love how many options there are out there. I think I need to find some zoas with more red or deep greens. The current garden feels very orange

We have some shrooms and such and just added a toadstool but I haven't managed to get good photos of them yet.
