This is a Waterbox 190.5. Will add some pieces to the flat bottoms to give more dimension once scape is set.

I think that you liking it is the most important thing.

Obviously it will look a lot different with corals on the rocks, but right now it looks too neat and straight, and all arches, no tiny caves or nooks for fish to hide.

But thats just me I like the chaotic look of a disorganized rock wall.

Like mojo said it is most important that you like it. I think you have great space for coral placement. If I changed anything I agree it doesn’t have a ton of variation overall.

I think you can do better. You have a good amount of rock but it's too symmetrical. All your rock pieces are placed longer dimension horizontal and your spaces between rocks are all the same size. Change it up. And use the back wall to lean rock against, just don't stack against it . Think caves, crevices, and overhangs. Here's a reef I just built, I do mine under water. Just 11 pieces of premium rock across 40".

I think it looks pretty good. I’d say try to make it staircase from front to back more for a look of depth and allow corals at different heights. Id also consider keeping the rocks further from your side glass. I can’t tell from pic but you may have trouble getting a magnet through there especially once you get corals on those rocks near the edges.

You have to like it-that’s all the matter

I have found using an assortment of sizes small rock-large rock-and agree i’m more of a haphazard layout-and i get hung up on trying to have flow of rock seem seamless-

I also think it looks too symmetrical and you have slightly too much rock. I would have at least 1 break in the rock work so it gives the fish easy access to the back of the rock. Also, having a height difference from taller rocks on one side to shorter on the other is very attractive. Also, I find it attractive and realistic to place the rocks at different depths from front to back.

Don’t take this criticism to serious as I put to much rock in my tank at first and then removed
10-15 percent of it over time. I also changed up the scape about 4 times with drastic changes. The idea is to have a lot of places for fish to swim around and sleep but be able to see them Swim around. Keep us updated on your progress.
