Hi! Sort of new here...I always google questions and land here but this time I'd like to post my own.
Recently purchased an LTA, it looked a little limp and brown at the store (Petco) but the tank water had a weird film at the top and not much surface agitation so we figured bring it home and help it recover. (As I said, newbie) it's been a little over a week. Our clown hasn't hosted it but is getting closer as time goes on. it looks almost translucent now. It has turned into a ball, then burst out and is now quite large but losing color. We tested our water and everything is in range, our nitrates are a little higher than we like but nothing detrimental. Any ideas??

He seems to be almost bleached is he getting enough light?
And how old is your tank and what are the parameters?

My bf usually does the testing and parameters so I'm not sure other than everything is in range. We also have new lights to install since it is such a bigger tank. We've been using the old LED bar in the meantime. We had a 65 gal tank for a little over two years but in November we went to a 125 gal. It was recommended not to use the established water, that the bacteria on the rocks and filter would be enough to start the new aquarium. The anemone currently looks the same, we even got a DaVinci clown hoping it'd take to it since our lightening maroon has zero interest. To be fair, its only been 2 days and it hasn't taken to it either.
