My anthias only will eat frozen. ive given some pellet and flake foods, they won't eat it. would like to have an automated feeder for them to make it easier to feed them muilple times a day. how do you get them to eat those processed food?

its the TDO small pellets. its smaller than some of the frozen shrimp they consume. they just spit it outHow big are the pellets you’re offering? There are some anthias-specific pellets that are super small that mimic their natural food sources better than the larger sizes.

Mix pellet in with the mysis juice and pour pellets out at the same time wit the shrimp. They eventually will learn its food. Now my anthia went from extremely picky to eating everything.

It’s a texture thing with the pellets- the shrimp are much softer and closer to the phytoplankton they consume in the wild, the anthias-specific pellets have a softer texture that is more palatable to them as you’re transitioning them to more standard pellets.its the TDO small pellets. its smaller than some of the frozen shrimp they consume. they just spit it out
