New at this my tanks about 1.5 weeks old

6 blue leg hermits
And where I think I messed up is yesterday I bought a green bubble tip anemone
Then read about how your tank blows up if they die how am I doing so far? Would I be fine to continue with keeping the anemone or should I rehome everything looks healthy so far there was about an hour where the anemone looked like it wasn’t doing too well but once I adjusted the lighting he’s fine now and flourishing I also did a feed. He looks healthy now. Any tips or guidance?

That’s good. Just let things be and wait. When you start registering nitrates over 10, do a 20% water change. If you register any ammonia do a 20% water change. Once you have nitrates it means you are cycled, but the tank is still very immature. That means that anything happens to cause ammonia to spike and you won’t have enough bacteria to convert the ammonia. In another two weeks or so you should have a more stable bacteria population.

Sounds good. I just did a 20% change about 4 days ago I’ll be doing it again in a few days
