Getting a custom controller board and want all controllers recessed. Reached out to CoralVue on ig and they the messages and no reply.. same with support. Which is frustrating and a bad experience.

Since the controllers will be recessed and screwed onto behind front panel I need the measurements for Kraken, Launch, X l0, and Maven BUT measurements are for the full front of the devices but without the mounting point bars since those will be fixed behind front panel.

Could anyone help me w those measurements? Also the measurements for those mounting bars where you screw them. I'll reapply appreciate anyone helping w the numbers.. I understand Maven isn't out yet but if any tester sees this please help!

Thank you

I am guessing the measurements you want are different from the ones on their website when looking at the controller?

Correct, the ones on their website include that black mounting bar with screw holes.. I need measurements without those black bars with screw holes

I have a full Neptune A3 Pro setup currently.. won’t transition until Maven comes out but on new controller board want to account of the new equipment. Thanks for the useless information.

The mounting point bars as you refer to them on a XP8 are 3/4" in length so you would take off 1 1/2 inches of overall length witch is 9 1/2 inches in length for the XP8 and 8 inches without the mounting brackets included. My Kraken is mounted already but looks like it is the same case as the Kraken. I drilled the mounting spots to fit several of the controllers so I can put them where I need them and not have to drill again but I had the controllers already when I built the control boards so I used the controllers to make my drill templates to drill each position. The control board in the garage is not drilled for the newer controllers and at the time I had Digital Aquatics modules so it has holes drilled to mount them also. The newer control board has holes drilled for the Kraken, Kraken power supply and XP8 in three positions on one board. The other board is drilled in three positions for X10, XD, XS, X2, X3 and X4 controllers.

You aren’t going to get any info with a poor attitude like that. I could have provided you all the measurements you wanted. But figured that to be your response.

right cause you can tell the future and you purposefully would provide useless information to get a response instead of providing actual valid and useful information.. that’s the definition of a narcissist. Good job.

I think I used the XP8 as a template and as far as I can tell trying to measure the Kraken is the same box as used with the XP8. I cannot get exact on it but with a measuring tape but if it is not the same it is very close. The Kraken is hard to get in there with the wires and where it is located. It looks like the X10 is also 3/4" for mounting brackets. I am not sure where they get the cases but they are IP65 rated cases. Of coarse the controllers with the AC outlet cannot have a IP65 rating because of the AC outlets but it is still the same cases. All the others I believe have the IP65 rating. If you are cutting a hole and mounting from the back you might want to have some gaps just to make sure. If you have access to the back you can always mark and drill the mounting holes unless you are going to use wood screws then you might not need to do that.

Imagine calling someone a narcissist but not knowing what it means. Lol

Knew your exact response after reading your first paragraph. It wasn’t hard to tell your type.

You are building a board. You’ll have them anyways. Buy them and don’t rely on someone else’s measurements. Common sense ain’t so common anymore I guess.

Good luck on your board building. You’ll need it at this rate. I’m done.

More useless information. Don’t get all upset for not getting your ego boost today.. you might find a victim soon.. narcissists always do.

Awesome, thanks a lot for the info. I really appreciate it. I am mounting from the back to hide those bars and make everything look more “finished”.. using Bamboo Ply so don’t want anything unsightly in the front.. drilling and mounting on the back keeps also potential bamboo splits due to screws completely out of sight.
