Thank you! I opted to use the store credit for a pyramid butterfly.

Cool! Just be aware that pyramids are really prone to Neobendenia flukes (I've actually never had one that didn't come in with these!). I've found that hyposalinity at 1.012 for 30 days will easily take care of that though.

Yeah I think I will see if an LFS can get one, I dont want to shio another. I feel horrible he died because of shipping :(

Using prazi against Neobenedenia is tough - the eggs are sticky and can stay viable for 12 days. You may need 3 to 5 prazi doses spaced 8 days apart to break an active infection. I find 30 days of hypo to be a better treatment.

Also, avoid buying any of these that have a bumped/injured snout.

Its crazy but the Moorish Idols I see here in europe do look quite well compared to years ago.
Almost every specimen looks healthy and eats quickly.

Imo they also come from asia.

They could be from East Africa, that is a common source for the EU, and the quality from there is very good.
